Rotary’s programs for students and youth can change the lives of those who participate. Through these programs, young people can earn scholarships, travel on cultural exchanges, or help a community through a service project.
The Rotract Club Of Waknaghat was officially installed 6th nov 2009. Its established under the guidance of The Rotary Club Shimla.
It mainly aims at community service, through various projects and fund raising activities,sponsorships to assist the same.
It also aims at :
–> To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and prmote understanding and goodwill towards all people.
–>To emphasize respect for the rights of others based on recognition of worth of each individual.
–> To instill in the members lifeskills that can be shared with others for generations to come.

My name is Monika Pratiwi, IS Director of Rotaract Club Semanggi Jakarta, D 3400-Indonesia.
We’d like to ask you to hel joint community service program with us during our International Service trip at Feb 2011. We plan to have IS trip to India which covers Delhi, Agra, Shimla and Jaipur on 19-27 Feb 2011.
As all of trip-members are rotaractors, we try to touch the base with every local rotaract club during our trip and to have joint project so each of us can experience warm hospitality and cooperation between indian and indonesian.
